The Scottish Heritage Society of Sarasota would like to announce that due to the success of 2007 the 2008 Games will be at

Venice Airport Grounds, Venice,Florida

US Business 41 through Venice

If coming South on Business 41:
Turn RIGHT off of US Business 41 onto Avenida Del Circo, turn LEFT on Airport Rd. towards the Intercoastal Waterway. Follow the dirt road until the end.

If coming North on Business 41:
Turn LEFT off of US Business 41 onto Avenida Del Circo, turn LEFT on Airport Rd. towards the Intercoastal Waterway. Follow the dirt down until the end.

Or: I-75 to exit 193. Turn right at the light off of the ramp onto Jacaranda. Follow Jacaranda to Center Rd.Turn right onto Center Rd. Follow Center until the end. Turn right at the light onto BUS.41 and go over the Circus Bridge. Turn left onto Avenida Del Circo & left onto Airport Rd. Take this until the very end, which leads to a dirt road. Follow this to the 2nd gate. All entry points into downtown Venice would turn onto Avenida Del Circo & left onto Airport Rd to the end.

CEILIDH

Everyone is invited to join in the fun at the Ceilidh after the Games,

David Teniers the II "Wedding Dance".

CEILIDH after the games:

The Ceilidh will be held at the Italian American Club
Located at: 1375 Ringling Drive, Venice (Just off Airport Road)
Time: 6:30 pm – 10:30 pm
Ticket price: $10.00 Purchase Ceilidh tickets at door of Italian Club. (Seating limited to 180 people)
Light Snacks & Cash Bar.

If you are unable to make the daytime festivities you should plan on attending the Ceilidh.
